Past Aerial Dance Forums
Dance City , Newcastle In October 2007
Fidget Feet received funding from ACE in the North East and Dance Connect in Dance City to run the first Aerial Dance Forum in Newcastle, England. Fred Deb’ from France taught the workshops, and fifteen professional aerial dancers who were a mixture of Dance Connect and Fidget Feet members took part in this exciting 3-day event.
Dance House, Dublin
In October 2008 Dance House in Dublin booked Chantal McCormick to teach a week of aerial workshops to the Irish local dance and circus communities. Chantal taught basic rope, silks/tissue and low flying harness work in the morning. Then in the afternoon we worked on combining dance with the aerial skills. 12 adults took part in this week.
Firkin Crane, Cork
In November 2008 Fred Deb traveled to Ireland for the first time to work with Fidget Feet on research on a new piece. During the eight days she also taught fabric workshops at The Firkin Crane, Cork.
