I also associate Fidget Feet with delivering compelling, engaging work, along with a thirst for new exciting relationships and collaborative working.” PROGRAMMER

For 24 years the Creative Director Chantal and Co-founder Jym Daly have collaboratively worked with so many amazing teams and FF has grown from strength to strength. For the last 7 years the Creative Director has lead on the growth of the infrastructure of aerial arts in Ireland, which included opening the Irish Aerial Creation Centre, which is FF’s home. IACC is starting their capital renovation project this year. The Irish Aerial Dance Festival is one of the largest European aerial dance festivals.

Now as part of FF’s 5 year strategic plan this producer role will work in collaboration with the Creative Director and also help the transition for the Creative Director to spend more time being the artist creating the shows. We have a very exciting strategic plan from 2022-2026 with many extraordinary new shows in the pipeline that need partners and funding. You can be part of shaping these plans.

This is a multi-faceted role requiring a breadth and depth of experience, a role that is as challenging as it is exciting and as demanding as it is rewarding. While we anticipate that the chosen candidate may not have experience in all areas of responsibility, this person should be able to quickly identify any deficits in experience and the means to overcome this. This is a new role that will evolve over time. The successful candidate will play a part in shaping this.

The aim of this key, senior role is to:

  • Strengthen the operational and financial capacity of the company by delivering on the five-year strategic plan and strengthen its reputation as a key national and international circus company
  • Represent the organisation to all external stakeholders
  • Report to the Executive Creative Director
